Shattering glass
Shattering glass
A shrill scream and a heartbreaking cry
And the blood runs freely by an by
She curls up now barley alive
Voice a whisper and she questions why.
He just stares. Why?
Why would he care
He doesn't owe her barley even knows her.
12 years later and she lied the whole time
And isn't that the worst crime.
Life gets lonely when you're all by yourself
With no one around but a bottle of crown
And sad little voice telling you lies
You can't help if it shows up night
Just make sure he's gone by the light.
Then one night he comes home early
Two sets of shoes and an extra coat
goes upstairs and finds them there
His hand stroking gently her hair.
A scream ripes though the room
She wakes with a jolt
The bed is empty
He lies on the floor
Crumpled mess by the door
He runs to her and holds to dear
turns to the mirror and throws there
She screams out in pain and whispers why
But he doesn't shed a tear
As he watches her die.

Book Idea
It's still in the early stages but...
In order to prolong he life every few years she has to pass her illness off to another. she has no control over who gets it. She steals what would have been left of their life only getting sick again when they would have dies. And she sees what she stole (when she sleeps) but can not return to the world what she took. She gives the illness to her lover just one of many in her immortal life, he falls sick and dies (some great man that did a lot). While she does not care for him herself she sees the destruction she caused. In present day (but not as advanced)she attempts to reach him to replicate his experiments, but she can't. When she steals another's life she realizes it is the partner of a man with the same genius and sets put to find him. She uses the dreams to find him and to help him with the experiments. He falls ill and she finds the one who gave her the gift/curse to help him as well. If he lived forever than he could help the world so much (she also has fallen in love with him after longing for so long after her the man this one represents.
It's not done yet, it still needs to be expanded.

We bought a zoo
I don't normally quote on here but i really like this one. It's from we bought a zoo and it's actually a pretty good way to live your life.
"All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage and I promise you something great will come of it."
